A special bus with a trailer for 16 bicycles connects Velenje with Dravograd and Labot (Austria). It operates daily in July and August, and on weekends in September. The service is intended primarily for cyclists who wish to explore the Štrekna route, one of the most beautiful cycling trails in Slovenia.

The majestic sculptures of the mastodon and the anancus tell the story of prehistoric animals whose remains were discovered right here in the Šaleška Valley. The fossil remains, found in Škale in 1964, are preserved at the Velenje Museum, where you can also see a life-sized reconstruction of the anancus.
