The BICY system allows each user to rent a bicycle for up to 14 hours per week. The system features quality bikes from the Slovenian manufacturer KRPAN. You can return a rented bike at any BICY station or free-standing rack. The BICY system was developed locally by an external contractor—the Šolski center Velenje (Velenje School Center).

To use the BICY system, personal user registration is required, which—until further notice—will be possible at three locations during adjusted opening hours:

• at Komunalno podjetje Velenje, Koroška cesta 37/b, Velenje, Monday to Friday, 7:15–14:45,
• at the Municipality of Šoštanj offices (Trg svobode 12, Šoštanj), every Wednesday between 15:00 and 17:00.
