The Velenje Water Sports Club has been active for more than 35 years and today brings together 84 members who passionately preserve and develop the traditions of sailing and other water sports.

The club’s core activity is running sailing courses for children and adults, providing a safe, fun, and high-quality introduction to the world of wind and waves. In addition to courses, the club organizes numerous events and regattas each year, including the Night Regatta, Fireball and FY class competitions, monthly training regattas, and the popular Pika Regatta. A highlight of the season is Bonfire Night, which draws many visitors to the lake and adds to the lively atmosphere at Velenje Beach.
